Young Investigator Preis DGIM 

Auf der 130. Tagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Innere Medizin (DGIM) wurde Yara Maria Machlah mit dem Young Investigator Award (1. Platz) für ihre Forschung zur „Entwicklung und erfolgreichen Behandlung eines neuartigen Mausmodells für anaplastischen Schilddrüsenkrebs“ ausgezeichnet.

Erstes Onboarding für neue UMEA Clinician Scientists

Vergangene Woche hat das Prodekanat für wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchs und Diversität erstmals eine Onboarding-Veranstaltung für die neuen UMEA Clinician Scientists organisiert. Nach einer Begrüßung durch Prof. Dr. Anke Hinney erhielten die Teilnehmenden wichtige Informationen zu ihrer Förderung und konnten sich mit erfahrenen Clinician Scientists austauschen. Leonardo de Assis receives Best Science Award 2023

Leonardo de Assis receives Best Science Award 2023 Congratulations to LOCOTACT member Leonardo de Assis for receiving the 2023 Best Science Award of University Lübeck.Also, LOCOTACT-associated Clinician Scientist from P07, Jannik Prasuhn, was honoured with The Renate-Maaß Price! Sebastian Hönes receives DFG funding

Congratulations to Sebastian Hönes, LOCOTACT PostDoc from P18.He was today granted a 3-year funding by the DFG for his project„The role of guanine-quadruplexes in cell type-specific transcriptional and posttranscriptional regulation of thyroid hormone receptors TRα1 and TRα2“ We wish him every success with this research project!
